Notes
The Pea Puffer is a tiny but highly intelligent predator known for its bold personality. Unlike most nano fish, they are not community-friendly and are best kept in a species-only setup. They may nip fins and show territorial aggression, especially in small tanks or improper group ratios. They thrive in heavily planted aquariums with lots of visual barriers to break line of sight. Live foods such as snails, daphnia, and bloodworms are essential for their health, as they are picky eaters and rarely accept dry food. Males can be territorial, so careful stocking and observation are important when keeping multiple individuals.
